Please follow the rules with respect.I trust all members that you will.
If rules are not followed and are abused banning will be the only option.
Forum Rules:
1. Do not post anything that is not "Work Safe" or in other words something that you would not feel comfortable viewing at school or work. This includes but is not limited to pictures, Links to websites, or over the top excessive crude language. (I'm not gonna tell you not to swear, just don't go too far.) This also includes your signature pictures and.or avatars.
2. Do not direct any kind of hateful remark towards any user. These include Racial slurs and hateful name calling that can offend a user based on Race, Cultural background, Religion, Sexual orientation, or more.
This also, believe it or not, includes a user's preference to Video game systems or company. If a user disagrees with your preferences you may disagree with them and debate with them, but name calling or hateful remarks aren't allowed. Although Negativity towards Nintendo is generally not supposed to be here, We do not "flame" or speak hatefully to a user because they like have different preferences to Video game companies.
3. Avoid Spamming of any kind. Most of you are already smart enough to be aware of what the word means. But because of the nature of the Internet things like these can be hard to define exactly. But basically I want your posts to have content to them. if you post something like "lol orly?" It does not have enough content to post. I've never been to harsh on this spam rule but users that spam with obvious intent to cause chaos, disorder, or anything else negative will be Temporally banned.
It also doesn't have to be mentioned that senseless and blind advertising to something else outside this community that has no real interest to the Nintendo community is frowned upon. If it's an advertisement to some sort or pornographic website it will result in a temporary ban.
Another thing I would love to emphasize is to please try to cut back on the Double posting. You will notice that on the top of your posts there is a button next to the "quote" button labeled "Modify".
Use this button to edit your posts if there is need to.
Some Minor things to keep in mind:
Overuse/abuse of the Edit/Modify Post option will not be tolerated.
Same goes with deleting your own posts. Only use these options when actually necessary.
If you decide to make a Poll in one of the forums make sure it is for good purpose. Polls made poorly or with no real point to them will be locked/deleted. In cases where a poll is really poorly made or pointlessly made, these topics will be considered spam and a possible Ban will be in order.
Go easy on some of the font options that are given to you such as the scrolling marque text option, text size option, and text color option. Try and use these sparingly or only when necessary to make a point as these can get annoying to see if overused.
Do not make posts that are in ALL CAPS, or all capital letters. Generally it is perceived around the internet that ALL CAPS posts portrays screaming and can get really annoying to see all the time.
Post topics in their correct category.
